Potiskum shops razed down by early morning fire

Some temporary shops belonging to petty traders near Texaco filling station in Potiskum, Yobe state, were razed down in a fire outbreak in the early hours of this morning.

An eye witness and a victim, Malam Habu Texaco, disclosed to Neptune Prime in a phone conversation that the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 1 am, is still unknown.

The State’s Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) has sent representatives to the scene to conduct an assessment of damages caused by the incidents.

The agency assured the victims of their continual quick response to emergencies.
