NDE begins registration of unemployed youths in Yobe

NDE begins registration of unemployed youths in Yobe

The Yobe state chapter of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has started registration of unemployed youths across the state.

This was disclosed in a press statement made available to newsmen in Damaturu by Hajiya Binta Aliyu, on behalf of the Director General of the Directorate.

According to her, the registration commenced on Monday 17th April to 5th May 2023.

The exercise is been held at the Federal Government Secretariat Complex, Damaturu and 17 local government areas of the state respectively.

She appealed to all unemployed youths across the state to use the available opportunity to register in their different local government areas to benefit from the programme.

In another development, full statistics of unemployed youths across the country are being compiled by the federal government with the view of making some proper plans for them.

Local indigenous letter of identification, National Identification Number (NIN) Permanent home address and phone numbers are the requirements needed.
