17 Almajiri students die in tragic midnight fire
No fewer than 17 students of an Almajiri school have lost their lives in a fire outbreak that engulfed their school in Kauran Namoda, Zamfara State.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a security expert, that the tragic incident, which occurred on the night of Tuesday, lasted for about three hours before it was brought under control.
Several other students sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.

Eyewitnesses described the fire as devastating, noting that efforts to contain it were hampered by its intensity.
Local authorities and emergency responders arrived at the scene to provide assistance, but the inferno had already caused severe casualties.
