Acting President Yemi Osinbajo says President Muhammadu Buhari is recuperating well and would be expected back in the country soon.
Osinbajo said while fielding questions from newsmen after the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja that, the president displayed his usual humour and shared some banter during their meeting.
“We had a very good conversation and he’s doing very well, he’s in good spirits, we had a long conversation,” he said.
Osinbajo did not state when President Buhari would be expected back in the country when he was asked, but said he would be back “very very soon”
Also, responding to questions about the confirmation of two ministerial nominees, Osinbajo said he was not in the position to give details on the matter.
