Forty eight hours after the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai gave an ultimatum for the capture of Abubakar Shekau, dead or alive, suicide bombers have visited, yet again, Maiduguri, with fatal casualties.
According to the Chairman of the Borno State Emergency Management Agency, Engineer Satomi Ahmed, there was a suicide bomb attack in Dalori at about 12.50am.
He wrote on his official Facebook page “Oh Allah save my people. on our way to Dalori camp. suicide bombers again.’
Efforts to speak to Satomi Ahmed was not successful as he did not answer several calls from our reporter.
Dalori IDP Camp holds the majority of the over 1.5 million IDPs in Borno.
The camp has witnessed not less than five suicide bomb attacks in as many months.
