The Borno State Deputy Governor Alhaji Usman Mamman Durkwa has commended the effort of the Presidential Committee on the North East Initiative for its support to the People of Borno.
Durkwa made the commendation while presenting relief materials at Azare Town provided by the committee to Debro, Harang, Kwajaffa and Hill Hawul villages in Hawul Local Government area.
The Deputy Governor advised the beneficiaries to use the materials for the purpose intended and warned that anyone caught selling the materials will be dealt with accordingly.
Items presented by the Presidential committee on North East include Cement, Roofing sheets, Rice and Beans among others.
