Acting President Yemi Osinbajo says the dynamic problems in Nigeria’s economy have been diagnosed and that focus needs to be given to enhancing a digital economy and creative industry.
He was speaking during the third presidential quarterly business forum in Abuja.
He said great ideas have been proferred by experts deployed by the government to assess the economy but stated that the real challenge was finding methods to efficiently implement those ideas to benefit the public.
Osinbajo, however, said effective partnerships with the private sector was the way forward, adding that the issue with the creative sector especially is “quality and marketing and not necessarily volume”
“The approach we will adopt is to provide a delivery unit where we will invite and work with private sector players in our delivery closet to deliver on quality and value in all of these various sectors.”
