The Federal Government is set to establish four more universities, three of which would be for training in Army, Navy and Maritime studies.
Minister of Education Malam Adamu Adamu said this yesterday, during the pally between the Federal Government and the Progressive Governors Forum on Policy Synergy held in Birnin Kebbi.
He explained that the establishment of the universities was in line with the policy of the present administration to boost education in all sectors.
The minister who said that the administration needed N4.2 trillion to fund the country’s education sector, appealed to state governments to pay their counterpart funds to access the funds to realise the promise on education made by the APC to the people of Nigeria.
