10 suspected Boko Haram members meet their Waterloo in Borno

The Nigerian Army says it has neutralized ten suspected members of Boko Haram in Maza village of Marte Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to a statement released by Deputy Director Public Relations, Eight task force division, Colonel Timothy Antigha said the terrorists fell into an ambush laid by the Nigerian troops last night.
The Terrorists he said attempted to sneak back to their hideouts in the Lake Chad before Army neutralized and recovered goods during the operation.
Items recovered during the operation include ten bicycles, eleven carts containing food items and two cows.
In a related development, troops also recovered fifty cows suspected to have been abandoned by fleeing Boko Haram members during clearance operations conducted in Danari and Mowo villages in Monguno Local Government Area.
The Insurgents have resorted to the use of bicycles and carts as means of transportation as a result of the raining season and tighten attacks on the terrorists the statement added.
