Dangote Group is set to establish a 100 megawatts Solar Power Plant in Kano state.
The company and Kano state government signed a memorandum of understanding and agreed to site the project at Zakirai, in Gabasawa Local Government Area of the state.
Aliko Dangote said the project would help to revive the state’s vibrancy in industrial and commercial activities.
Signing the MoU on behalf of the state government, the SSG, Alhaji Usman Alhaji said Dangote, has demonstrated his love for the state and that the project would play a huge role in taking Kano back to its glory days and reviving the economy.
