President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
He landed Abuja on Saturday afternoon.
The President, who has been in London for over 100 days was receiving treatment for an unknown ailment.
His absence had triggered protests in Abuja, where he was called to resume or resign, and the state of his health was demanded to be made public.
The protests were met with counter-protests by pro-Buhari supporters and at some point got violent but no casualties were recorded.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Femi Adesina said the president would address the nation on Monday in a public broadcast.
The hashtag BabaOyoyo has been trending on social media following the announcement of his return.
