Mr. Ali Janga has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Police in Kogi State.
Janga replaces Wilson Inalegwu who has been transferred to the Police College, Jos, Plateau State.
Janga was the head of Scorpion Mobile section of the Nigeria Police Force until his redeployment to Kogi.
The outgoing police commissioner commended the people of Kogi for their support during his stay in the state.
“With their cooperation and support, the state police command has been able to curtail kidnapping and other crimes,” Inalegwu said.
