Expressing displeasure of the All Progressive Congress faction called APC Akida in Kaduna over the misdoings of el-Rufai, the chairman of the faction in the state, Mataimaki Tom Maiyashi has described el-Rufai’s governance of the state as not different from leading a motor park.
He stated this in an exclusive interview with newsmen recently saying “The way this government is being run by Nasiru el-Rufai is not different from that of a motor park”.

He added further that the Governor has nothing good to show apart from the crises and arrogance he is engaged in, adding that they will never come to terms with him as a result.
Maiyashi further explained that governor el-Rufai has engaged in too many misdoings in the state that are embarrassing, citing the cases of ejecting over thirty traders from their shops at Kasuwan  Barci in Kaduna metropolis, dismissal of over 4000 community leaders and of recent, embarrassing the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Idris, during a state event.
He also condemned the slow manner with which the governor is running the verification of civil servants in the state that has grossly affected their welfare.
Also speaking on the recent declaration by governor el-Rufai that former Nigeria’s president, late Umaru Musa Yar’adua dragged with him and ended up in his grave, he condemned the statement as irresponsible.
He described Yar’adua as an honest and disciplined person he had known since school days while he challenged el-Rufai to come and claim the same qualities in public and see how disgraced he will stand.
He explained that it had become pertinent upon them to form a faction in the APC because some of their members in authority have violated the policies, principles and party ideology and are engaging in acts that are destructive to the party.
He further expressed gratitude that there are more party members joining the Akida faction of the APC in other states which is empowering them the more and giving them more hope.
