Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team, defeated Senegal to scale through to the finals of the 2017 Afrobasket championship.
D’Tigers won three of the four quarters in Friday’s semifinal clash, establishing 15-12 points lead at the end of the first quarter.
The second and third quarters ended at 19-17 and 18-16 respectively.
The Nigerian team will be hoping to retain their title when they play against hosts Tunisia on Saturday.
