The Management of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has announced the sudden death of its Northeast Zonal Coordinator Alhaji Abdulsalam Muhammed who died Oct 6 in Maiduguri, Borno State.
“The deceased was redeployed to Maiduguri about three weeks ago to take charge of the Northeast zonal office after having served in the North-central zone, Jos Plateau State in the same capacity,” a statement signed by Sani Datti, Head, Media and Public Relations said.
“Director General of NEMA Engr. Mustapha Maihaja has expressed shock over the sudden death. He prayed to Allah to forgive his soul and give the family the fortitude to bear the loss,” it added.
