A seasoned diplomat and former Director-General of Technical Aid Corps, Mamman Daura, is dead. He was 71.
Family sources said he died Wednesday around 7pm at his Aso Drive residence in Abuja after a protracted illness.
The late Daura served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Uganda for eight years.
He also served in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Belgium and Cameroon.
He will be buried on Friday in Daura in accordance with Islamic rites.
