Eight people who were on their way to a wedding ceremony in Unguwar Nasarawa community in Potiskum, Yobe state, North Eastern Nigeria have been killed after a ghastly motor accident along the Potiskum-Fara-Fara highway.
Emir Of Potiskum Mai Umar Bubaram confirmed the incident after he paid a visit to the 25 other injured victims in the hospital.
The Emir further called on drivers to be vigilant, avoid overloading and stop rough driving.
Doctor Sale Abubakar who spoke to journalists on the incident said some of the survivors were in critical condition but the medical team was doing everything possible to save them.
