Garba Daya, a renown retired pharmacist, succeeds Adamu Ciroma

A statement issued by Alhaji Gimba Gonki Fika, acting secretary of Fika Emirate Council has said that His Royal Highness, the Emir of Fika has appointed Alhaji Garba Abdullahi Daya, the Galadima of Fika, to succeed the late Madaki of Fika, Malam Adamu Ciroma.
By virtue of this appointment, Alhaji Garba Daya is now the highest ranking traditional title holder in the emirate.

Likewise, the Emir has also elevated Air Commodore Ibrahim Alkali (rtd), the Dallatun Fika, to the status of the vacant title of Galadima of Fika while Alhaji Baba Abare, former chairman of Fika Local Government Council is the new Dallatu of Fika.
All of them are members of the Emirate Council by virtue of their appointments which immediate effect.
