Disgraced ex-SSS boss Lawal Daura who was fired by the acting president Yemi Osinbajo, following the inglorious role he played in the invasion of NASS has been released while his international passport was confiscated.
Piqued by Tuesday’s siege on NASS, the vice president allegedly on the orders of president Muhammadu Buhari who was on a ten day leave in London fired Daura.
Mr Daura who was in the custody of SSS was released on Wednesday from an SSS facility in Gwarimpa from where he was subjected to house arrest.
The ex-SSS boss was reportedly detained at a SARS facility in Guzape immediately after his arrest where he was subjected to interrogation by the police in respect of how he ran the SSS as his controversial reign as SSS boss lasted
