Federal lawmakers have expressed disgust over a budgetary subhead by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in which the sum of N6 billion naira was earmarked as cost of feeding policemen during 2019 general polls.
Reports indicated that not satisfied with the provision, members of house of representatives are drilling the INEC chairman professor Mahmood Yakubu to make sure Nigerians are not shortchanged.
The budget defence is ongoing at the National Assembly.
