Ambassador Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the late Igbo leader, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, will begin her senatorial campaign for the 2019 Anambra South Senatorial District today.
The leadership of APGA had already said it would provide a level-playing field for all the aspirants for the various political offices for the 2019 elections. Speaking on Ojukwu’s senatorial ambition yesterday, Dr. Godwin Maduka said she deserved to be elected into the country’s upper legislative house in view of her tremendous experience in politics.
“We know her life history and her experience in various fields eminently qualifies her to be a senator.
Investigations show that the APGA hierarchy was amenable to her ambition as a payback time to Ojukwu who mentored the party.
