Report has shown that two Chelsea defenders, Gary Cahill and David Luiz have been told that they do not feature in the club’s plans going forward.
According to Read Chelsea, West London club are already making effort to reinforce their defence during the January transfer window. The plan is to replace Cahill and Luiz.
Recall that Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri has placed AC Milan duo, Mattia Caldara and Alessio Romagnoli as his top two targets next year.
Luiz has been a regular in Sarri’s side this season, partnering Antonio Rudiger in a back four defence.
Cahill on the other hand, has found game time hard to come by. The ex-England international was heavily linked with move away from the club over the summer, but no deal materialised.
