Kidnapped lecturers in Kaduna regain freedom

Three lecturers of Shehu Idris College of Health, Makarfi in Kaduna State, who were kidnapped on Sunday night have regained freedom.
The school administrator, Yusuf Yakubu, confirmed their release to Daily Trust via a text message stating that they were released at 8pm on Tuesday night.
“Please be informed that the three kidnapped staff of Shehu Idris College of Health Science and Technology were released this night (Tuesday) 8pm.
“I, the Administrator of the college negotiate with the kidnappers and they released them to me.” the text message read.
Among the kidnapped lecturers were two women, Rabi Dogo and Halimatu Malam, and the Director of the Institution’s Dental School, identified as Dr. Akawo.
Neptune Prime learnt the three academic staffs were abducted on Sunday while travelling to Makarfi from Zaria in Kaduna State.
