Shettima wins Borno Central senatorial ticket in APC primaries

The Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, has won the All Progressives Congress ticket for Borno Central Senatorial District.
Gov. Shettima defeated his opponent Alhaji Ali Wurge at the primary election with a wide margin.
Announcing the result on Thursday, The Chairman of the APC Borno Central Senatorial Electoral committee, Ahmed Almaduzu, said ”Shettima scored a total of 2,735 while Alhaji Wurge had 5 votes.”
