A Boko Haram terrorist’s camp at Kaltunbere was infiltrated yesterday by the Troops of 22 Brigade Garrison in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State, rescued two minors and killed three terrorists.
The Nigerian Army, in a statement on its Twitter handle, said, the vigilantes supported the Troops on deliberate offensive patrol to neutralize 3 Boko Haram terrorists while others escaped with gunshot wounds.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General TY Buratai has commended the gallant troops and urged them to continue carrying out raids.
He added that deliberate patrols and attacks to decimate remnants of Boko Haram terrorists in the North East should be embarked upon.
