Tens of thousands of political supporters and allies of late Sen. Usman Albishir who decamped from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and endorsed Honourable Mai Mala Mala Buni, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Yobe State were on Thursday received into the party at a ceremony in Nguru.
The camp, which holds together the political associates of the late Senator Usman Albishir, is one of the strongest political camps in the state with a political strength of at least 200,000 judging from its political antecedents.

This informed why the APC candidate, accompanied by the Yobe State Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Gaidam, the Director General of the APC Campaign Team, Honourable Lawan Shettima and the Zonal Campaign Co-ordinator, Alhaji Jinjiri Abubakar, among other party stalwarts went to Nguru on Thursday.
Alhaji Abdullahi Balarabe Nguru (popularly known as Balarabe DJ), leader of the Albishir political camp and an Nguru-born businessman and philanthropist, led the decampees that were received by the party’s gubernatorial candidate.
