In his continuation of campaign rally, the Yobe State All Progressives Congress’ (APC’s) Governorship candidate, Honourable Mai Mala Buni yesterday visited Fika and Gadaka where he was received by thousands of supporters.
Accompanied by top political gurus and other influential people from the zone, the candidate urged the people of the two populous towns to vote for him and the APC’s candidates for the House of Assembly so that his government will consolidate on the laudable achievements recorded by the Governor Ibrahim Gaidam’s administration.
He also seized the opportunity to, on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari and APC, thank the people for their mass turn-out and votes in the just concluded presidential and national assembly election.
Honourable Mala Buni promised to tackle youth unemployment, to boost health care delivery, education, agriculture and rural infrastructure development.
He also promised to look into the issue of the ban on motorcycle use, a major sauce of revenue generation to the youths and also a means of rural transportation.
The people, while acknowledging the goodness of the candidate with a promise to come out and vote for the APC enmass, conveyed their appreciation to Governor Gaidam for the two roads he constructed from Godowoli to Siminti and Gadaka road, the introduction and support of irrigation program in Fika and the renovation of schools in the area generally.
