Alhaji Musa Umar, a business mogul, former Customs officer and Buhari’s in-law has been kidnapped by four unidentified gunmen on Wednesday 01/05/2019.

A witness told the News Agency of Nigeria that the kidnappers who stormed Umar’s Daura residence came at about 7 pm in a Peugeot 406 saloon car and sporadically shot into the air, scaring the hell out of bystanders, who scampered for safety given them the freedom to whisk away their target.

Umar had just returned from the mosque where he took part in the Maghrib (evening prayer) and was sitting in front of his house discussing with some people when the gun-toting kidnappers came.

After the gunmen left, the Daura council chairman Malam Abba Mato and hundreds of sympathizers came to Umar’s residence, to discuss the bewildering incident.
