Veteran broadcaster, Aliyu Mustapha Sokoto, has been elevated to Chief of Hausa Service of the Voice of America (VOA).
Malam Aliyu was a staff of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Sokoto before joining the VoA 30 years.
Popularly called Aliyu Mustaphan Sokoto, his appointment takes effect from today.
