His Excellency, Governor Mai Mala Buni has accompanied President Muhammadu Buhari to Egypt on Tuesday for a two-day Aswan Forum, a forum meeting convened by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi of Egypt to set an ‘Agenda for Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa’.
President Fatah al-Sisi is the current chairman of the African Union (AU)The Forum, which holds between December 11th and 12th in the Nile River City of Aswan, will bring together African leaders, governmental and non-governmental organizations, civil society and the private sector, among others, to discuss prevailing and emerging security challenges on the African Continent. Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and Godwin Obaseki of Edo State were also among the dignitaries that accompanied the president to Egypt. President Muhammadu Buhari and members of his entourage, arrived at the City of Aswan in Egypt for the Sustainable Peace and Development in Africa Forum scheduled to begin Wednesday.
