Boko Haram Attack: Governor Buni to restrategise, calls for calm, prayers

From Sa’adatu Maina, Damaturu

In the aftermath of the Boko Haram attack on Damaturu yesterday, the Yobe State Governor, Honourable Mai mala Buni, has called on people of the state to remain calm as plans are underway to restrategise the fight against the insurgents and that such attacks will soon become part of “our dark history never to be repeated again”.

While calling for prayers, he assured the people that plans are underway to change the narrative and therefore called for the people to remain confident and go about their normal activities.

The governor also praised the gallantry of men of the military who “courageously thwarted the insurgents attempt so that Yobe and indeed Nigeria will have peace”.
