840 corp members pass out in Yobe

No fewer than 840 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Corps members for the 2019 service year have successfully passed out in Yobe.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Grace Adzer disclosed this on Wednesday at the passing-out parade ground in Postiskum.

“Your Excellency, assembled here ready to proceed to all the nooks and crannies of the state are 840 virile Nigerian youth upon whose shoulders the future of this great country lies”

Adzer also said during their stay in the camp, the corps members have been given various skills training ranging from Agro-Allied Business, Food Processing, Culture and Tourism, Cosmetology, Power and Energy, Construction Services among others.

She also commended the corps members for conducting themselves well in the camp.

“For the purpose of emphasis, let me add that none of these corps members have been found wanting in any aspect of the camping. I feel highly elated and proud to be associated with you.”

She urged them to remain good ambassadors and be prepared to render selfless service to the fatherland irrespective of where they may be posted to for their primary assignment.

The Yobe governor, Mai Mala Buni said his administration and the good people of Yobe state are very hospitable to Corps members at all times.

“Therefore, as you leave the camp, after this ceremony, accept your postings to any part of the state in good faith, and do not entertain any fear.
