Sky Sports released its ranking for the Top 20 athletes of the decade with a notable absence of Tennis superstar Rafael Nadal.
Nadal, who is currently the world No.1, won 13 of his 19 Grand Slam titles in the last decade but it wasn’t enough to get him a spot on the list.
World No.2 Novak Djokovic made it into the ranking due to his 62 ATP tournament and 14 Grand Slam wins over the last decade. Serena Williams took the top spot, thanks to her domination of the women’s tennis.
As for football, Brazilian star Marta was placed in 16th position and Cristiano Ronaldo was third, above his rival Lionel Messi.
