Nigerian superstar singer, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, has been declared the winner of the ‘Best African Act’ category at this year’s MOBO Awards.

Wizkid’s victory was announced via MOBO Awards official Twitter page on the 9th of December 2020 where they congratulated Wizkid, writing;

“Congratulations to @wizkidayo on amazing year, which is now topped off by him winning Best African Act at the 2020 #MOBOAwards”.

Wizkid was not the only Nigerian superstar to be awarded as his close friend, Burna Boy also clinched victory in the ‘Best International Act’ category.

MOBO Awards wrote on Twitter ;

“Congratulations to @burnaboy! He is our 2020 Best International Act #MOBOAwards winner.
