Industrialist urged FG to increase on education sector allocation

The Chief Operating Officer, Hurlag Technologies, Kamar Olawuyi, has urged the Federal Government to increase budgetary allocation to the education sector.

He spoke when the European American University, Commonwealth of Dominica conferred him with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Abuja.

According to him, the education sector is awful. “We continue to spend scarce forex sending our wards to schools outside the country.

This cannot stop until we pay attention to the educational sector in our country,” he said.

Speaking, the Representative of the President of European American University, Commonwealth of Dominica and International Partner, Dr. Luke Okojie said a selective board sat and picked the awardees based on their contributions to the society.
