Babbangida, capital of Tarmuwa Local Government in Yobe State is currently under Boko Haram attack.
This will be about the third time in the last four months that the insurgents are attacking the area
The last time they burnt down the market and emir’s palace in Babbangida, the headquarter of the local government.

As at press time, eyewitnesses in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital, confirmed to Neptune Prime that airforce jets have been sighted moving towards the area, barely some 30 kilometres away.
