A suspect named Vitalis Oputa has been arrested by the FCT Police Command, Abuja in connection to the murder of staff of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC), Ibrahim Garba Haji.
Haji was allegedly stabbed with a knife by the suspect at Pasali, Kabusa community in Abuja on Tuesday during an official assignment.

Another staff of the AEDC who was with the late Haji at the time was also attacked and sustained injuries.
Spokesman of the command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Manzah said the arrest was made after they received a distress call.
