Nostradamus predicted coronavirus pandemic – Claims

There is a claim that Nostradamus predicted the coronavirus pandemic for this 2020 in a book he titled ‘The Prophecies’ which was written five centuries ago.

The name of Michel de Notre-Dame, better known as Nostradamus, has been resurfacing for years, every time a tragedy occurs or the world faces a great challenge, as is now the case with the coronavirus pandemic, which according to many, would have predicted the French-born in the 16th century.

Nostradamus was a doctor and fortune-teller who became widely famous for his book ‘Les Propheties’ (The Prophecies), a collection of 942 poetic quatrains that are supposed to predict future events such as wars, natural disasters, the death and rise of key figures in the history of the planet, among other events.

Nostradamus predicted “a great plague” by 2020

Although the book was published five centuries ago, it would contain a prediction for this year 2020, which would warn of a “great plague”, which scholars of the prophecies relate to the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently being experienced in the world.

The quartet of ‘Les Propheties’ would point out the following:

“The great plague of the maritime city Will not cease until the death of the righteous blood, condemned for a price without crime, of the great lady outraged by the simulation is avenged.”

What does the prophecy mean?

According to those who claim to know, “the sea city” alludes to Hong Kong, one of the cities where a large number of contagions were recorded, but which fell far short of the numbers of cases and deaths recorded in Wuhan, the city considered to be the origin of the strain.

As for the “great lady” mentioned, they say it was Wun Yi, former Chinese health minister, who helped stop the deadly SARS virus, a member of the coronavirus family in 2003.

In addition to the Covid-19 pandemic, it is signed that Nostradamus would have preceded wars, rebellions and natural disasters for this year.

Which Nostradamus’ predictions were fulfilled?

Some predictions of Nostradamus that, according to their resemblance to reality, are considered fulfilled are:

1. Adolf Hitler’s rise to power

2. The launching of the atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki

3. The 9/11 attacks.
