His Excellency, Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni, extends the condolences of the government and people of the state to the family of the late Shehu of Bama, the government and people of Borno state over the demise of the monarch, Alhaji Kyari Ibn Umar ElKanemi.
Buni said the government and people of Yobe state received with shock the death of the Shehu of Bama, a gentleman who lived a peaceful life in service to the people of his emirate and humanity.
Governor Buni described the late Shehu of Bama as a resourceful bridge builder who contributed to peaceful coexistence in Borno state and good neighbourliness.

The Governor said the death of the monarch was not just a loss to Bama emirate and Borno state but, to other states including Yobe.
Governor Mai Mala Buni, prayed almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him Aljannatur Firdaus.
He also prayed Allah to grant his family, Bama emirate and Borno state government, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
