Fakhri Pasha, the defender of Madinah, the hero of our religion

When Madinah was under attack from 1916 to 1919, Fakhri Pasha gathered his troops in the Prophet’s Masjid (S.A.W) and said, ‘I ask you in the name of the Prophet S.A.W to protect this city with your last bullet and your final breath.

O lovers of Muhammad S.A.W, come forward and promise me, before our Lord and the Prophet SAW that you will honour your faith through the sacrifice of your lives.’ He was blessed with the vision of Rasulullah S.A.W who told him not to give up during that period. He was also the man who protected the relics of Rasulullah S.A.W and sent them to Istanbul.

He and his men suffered hunger and thirst for over 48 months protecting the city of the Messenger (S.A.W). The waves of that fitna and betrayal can still be felt until this day.

The eye of the traitor and the coward will never find rest. People attempted to extinguish the light of this religion but Allāh is the Completer and Protector of His religion.

The love of the Messenger of Allah (S.A.W) will never be taken from the hearts of the believers. A time is soon to come when the Ummah will yet again rise. May Allah subjugate the treacherous and bring back the days of our glory and honour.
