Gov Buni passionate about Yobe youths – Deputy Gov

Deputy Governor Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) explained that the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency Governor Mai Mala Buni (Chiroman Gujba) is passionate about the affairs of youth in the state.

The Deputy Governor stressed this at the occasion of distribution of the second phase of Buni and Gubana youth empowerment materials to the beneficiaries in potaskum local government area.

He was as represented by the Deputy Speaker Yobe State House of Assembly, Honourable Mohammed Auwal Isa Bello, the empowerment package in pataskum local government, consists of 10 units of tricycles popularly known as JEGA, 10 units of sewing machines and 10 units of grinding machines respectively.

Each APC ward chairman received tricycle, one sewing machine for each youth leader and one grinding machine for each Women leader from the 10 wards of the local government area.

Gubana, noted that potassium youth are largely hardworking citizens that require a little incentive or empowerment for them to be self-reliant in managing their own livelihood.

He urged the beneficiaries to ensure proper use and be prayerful for the full return of peace, success against the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and a bumper harvest in the forthcoming new season.

Earlier speaking the chairman of the occasion and member representing pataskum central constituency Honnouroble Abdullahi Adamu Bazuwa commended Buni and Gubana youth empowerment scheme stressing that, when youth are equipped with essentials skills, can utilize them to feed, assist others and even invest for future use, as well as aiding the state economically.

The state APC  youth chairman, Alh Babangida Jajere, Wazirin pataskum Alhaji Ali Mohammed Guza as well as making Tikau Alh Musa Lawan all appealed to the politicians in the zone to emulate the gesture and continue assisting the electorates.

The Deputy Speaker performed the symbolic presentation of the materials to one of the beneficiaries from Bulah/Danchuwa ward Adamu jeje (APC ward chairman)

The youth empowerment would continue in other local government areas across the state.
