The divisional police officer Shiroro Division, Deputy Superintendant of Police, Yakubu Tanko, has received a lot of praise and applause from Nigerians for his dedication and integrity to end criminal menace under his division.
This was after a young man named Samaila Jagaba from Chikun in Kaduna State was arrested after trying to bribe the officer with N300,000 thousand to release a kidnapper who was arrested with a locally-made pistol and one cartridge at Kwata Market in Niger state recently.
Jagaba brought N200,000 and promised the balance of N100,000 later when the deal is done.
The offer was turned down by the DPO and the criminal left to face the full wrath of the law.
