The Federal Government on Thursday hosted a delegation of senior Ghanaian officials led by the Minister for Trade and Industry, Allan Kyeremanteng in Abuja.
Other members of the Ghanaian delegation include the Minister for Information, Kojo Nkrumah, and Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Mohammed Tijani.
The delegation was in Abuja to discuss the $1 million trade levy imposed on Nigerian traders in Ghana, closure of the Seme border by the Federal Government, and other economic and bilateral issues.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Ferdinand Nwonye, the FG delegation to the meeting was led by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo.

Other ministers at the meeting were the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, and the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Amb. Zubairu Dada.
The parley also had in attendance the representatives of the Attorney-General and Minister of Justice; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Comptroller General of Immigration; and Executive Secretary, Nigeria Investment Promotion Council.
“The delegations of both countries had a successful bilateral engagement on improving Nigeria/Ghana relations,” the statement added.
