Bauchi State Police Command has arrested a 28-year-old Isah Wada of Gobirawa Village in Allaleri Local Government Area of the state in possession of one fabricated SMG riffle, 12 live ammunitions and three empty shells of a pistol.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Ahmed Wakil told reporters yesterday that the suspect was arrested by a Joint Task Force operation drafted to Gwana and Duguri.
Wakil said the suspect when interrogated, revealed that he and three other suspects -Manu, Nunnu and Dandaru as his team members now at large have been terrorising Duguri and Gwana.
He confessed that they attacked Juji village, entered about four different houses, threatened them with guns and collect money from innocent citizens.
DSP Wakil said the investigation is on going and effort is being intensified to arrest the fleeing suspect.
