As the clock ticks towards the hour of this year’s edition of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown television reality show grand finale tonight, viewers are in anticipatory mood guessing who will finally get the N85 million grand prize.

Last Sunday’s eviction show was exhilarating and disappointing to some viewers after Ebuka Obi Uchendo, anchor of the show announced the eviction of Trickytee and Ozo, leaving the five finalists Dorathy, Laycon, Nengi, Neo and Vee.

The voting poll was unusually opened on Sunday night till Friday night, and the social media space this past week was agog of viewers canvassing votes for their favourite housemates.

Dorathy has been very lucky to have come this far in the show having narrowly escaped evictions at least twice. According to viewers’ perception, her chances of getting the ultimate prize is narrow due to recent rants on social media of her not being consistent with other housemates.

Laycon’s chances of emerging the winner are glaring due to the massive support he has garnered and fan base outside. His creativity, intellectual prowess and charisma to a large extent have attracted celebrities in the entertainment industry and showbiz to canvassing votes for him. He has comfortably escaped countless evictions after churning more than half of the percentage of votes with his fellow housemates. His future and musical career are in the hands of his teeming supporters outside the house.

Nengi, the third finalist has never been on nomination due to her luck in the being the Head of House virtually more than any other housemates as well as Deputy Head of House. Her popularity outside has not been tested through votes. However, tonight puts her on the spotlight in determining the level of her popularity and admiration.

Neo, on the other hand, have tasted the Sunday night eviction hammer, he has been saved several times but on a low voting figure, tonight put him on test his popularity outside.

The last finalist Vee has had a fair share of the eviction night drama after narrowly escaping the possibility of leaving the house the night Erica got disqualified, she was substituted for Vee’s based on the voting arrangement.

Tonight undoubtedly is going to be a memorable one for whoever emerges winner of the reality show.
