A Yobe state government delegation led by Dr Garba Iliya, Hon. Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs has officially paid a condolence visit to the family of late Col. Dahiru Ciroma Bako in Kaduna.
Dr Iliya said Governor Mai Mala Buni, the government and people of Yobe state were saddened by the demise of the gallant officer.

“With total submission to the will of Allah (SWT), we share the pain, grief and sorrow of the death of Col. Bako.
“Gov. Buni extends the assurances of Yobe state government with you the family at this trying moment and always,” Dr lliya said.
Special Adviser to Gov. Mai Mala Buni on Religious Affairs, Ustaz Babagana Malam Kyari, led prayers for the repose of the soul of late Col. Bako.
The delegation presented a donation on behalf of the state government to the family.
Col.Bako died last Monday following injuries he sustained from an ambush by suspected Boko Haram.
