Story from Kenneth AFOR, Lagos

Ezekiel Adamu Pam, a former staff of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has been arrested and caught with 254kg of dried weeds suspected to be Cannabis Sativa.

According to the state’s NDLEA Acting Commander, Mr Aloye Oludare, Pam, 46, was dismissed last year and was arrested October 9, 2020, in Mokwa Local Government Area in Niger State.

”They loaded the car in Ado Ekiti in the company of another suspect who escaped heading to Adamawa state,” Oludare said.

He said the suspect would be charged to court after the agency might have completed its investigation.

He, therefore appealed to the public to always report any suspicious activity or individuals to relevant authorities, adding that such moves by the public will enable the agency to rid the state of drug trafficking and its attendant crimes.
