Police in Bauchi State has arrested a 63-year-old man and 56-year-old man respectively for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl from Sabon Kaura village in Bauchi local government area of the state.
Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Ahmed Wakil stated this Thursday while briefing newsmen.
He said, “one Rabi’u Musa ‘m’ of Sabon Kaura, Bauchi reported at ‘D’ Division that one Ibrahim Musa ‘m’ aged 63 years and Nuhu Isah ‘m’ aged 56 years, all of Unguwan Gado, Bauchi had unlawful carnal knowledge of Hauwa (not real name) ‘f’ aged 13 years of Sabon Kaura, Bauchi on different occasions in a security room located at new GRA near Sindaba Hotel Bauchi.
“Ibrahim and Nuhu gave her N1000 and N300 respectively, where the first aforementioned suspect was employed as a security guard.
“On receiving the report, a team of detectives were drafted to the scene and the victim was rushed to the hospital for medical examination.”
Wakil said the suspects were arrested and confessed to having committed the offence and they will be charged to court for prosecution.
