Former Bauchi State House of Assembly member, Abdulmumuni Ningi who was kidnapped last week Thursday (14 January 2021) at about 8 PM within the Bauchi metropolis has regained his freedom.

It was reported last week that Abdulmumuni Ningi was trailed by his kidnappers who were four in number in a gold colour car from where he was coming from to his house around the BSADP area at Isa Yuguda Guest House.

A family member said that Ningi was released on Wednesday evening and got back home at about 11 PM from an unknown destination where he was dumped by the kidnappers while negotiation for his release was still ongoing.

The family member said, “we are only grateful to Allah that our brother is back home hale and healthy though he is still traumatic due to the experience he had.

“The next thing is to give him the required medical attention in order to make sure that he is okay and to also ensure that he is psychologically stable before he returns to his business.”
