The Anambra State Police Command has arrested the founder of Children of Light Anointing Ministries, Nkpor, Idemili, Mr Onyebuchi Okocha, popularly known as Prophet Onyeze Jesus.

The 32-year-old pastor is reportedly from Amafor village in Nkpor and was once a bus conductor before he became a prophet.

The controversial prophet made headlines recently after he was seen in a video praying N50 notes on his naked clients bathing in a river, an action which got him into trouble with the Anambra State government.

Also, in a related statement, the state Ministry of Health on Wednesday, 27 January 2021 warned hospitals and mortuaries operating in the state against allowing ‘Onyeze Jesus’ access to their facilities to carry out his widely publicised claim, and planned ‘magic’ that he would raise seven corpses from the dead Thursday 28 January 2021.

In a new report, Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) quoted a police source who said, “Onyeze Jesus is in police custody. He was arrested on Wednesday, 27th January 2021 and will likely be arraigned for various offences on Thursday, 28th January 2021”.
